2012 was the beginning of my journey into quilting. I made my first quilts and was lucky enough to be juried into the Ten by Tin, a CQ Challenge.

PictureSpecial Duties
Special Duties was exhibited at Bletchley Park in February 2012. My mother was a Wren during the World War II and this quilt is based on her service record and photos taken of her in her uniform.

The quilt is constructed of paper lamination, rusted fabrics and transfered photos. It has been overprinted with text before free motion quilting.
