Gallery 2013
This year was very good for me. I found a way of working that has enabled me to build up the beginnings of a series called as "Pieces of Crow".

Pieces of Crow XLOne of 17 pieces juried into the Fine Arts Quilt Masters 2013 and was shown at the New Designers 2013 exhibition at the British Design Centre, London in June and then again at the Festival of Quilts 2013 at the NEC, Birmingham.
This piece is inspired by a design to work just in black and white to improve my design skills. I only use commercial fabrics when I am working with black and white. Improvisational cutting and piecing, machine quilted. Commercial fabric.
